I painted these on location in Catalina as part of my birthday celebration.
It was such a beautiful weekend, I had a really good time!

This was a fun lunchtime outing as Barry and I found ourselves
hiking up the mountain for a good view.

 of the sunlit mountains above La Canada. What a great way to start off the New Year!

They're all oil on canvas board, 25 to 50 minutes per painting.

We did 5 to 6 paintings per day for 5 days in a row...what an awesome class!
